Hit the lights!

After nearly a week without power Nick's Cove of Marshall is gearing up to reopen tomorrow night.

Due to the unexpected fall of a power pole into a nearby marsh, much of the coastal town of Marshall, which stretches along the curves of Highway One, has been out of power.  According to local sources, power could not be restored to residents or Pat Kuleto's latest baby, restaurant and B&B Nick's Cove, until a helicopter could be brought in to lift the damaged lines; Quite a feat considering the weather of late!

Coastal travelers and vacationers are sure to be a bit more happy now that oysters and wine are back in order. The restaurant escaped with only minimal damage. The wine "dungeon" did flood but rescue missions have been underway to preserve Kuleto's massive store of spirits. Today loads were being delivered to the Kuleto estate by employees while repairs are underway, but never fear, they expect to be in full operation by Friday evening.

With power back, hopefully a few brave diners can partake in the always awe inspiring views of stormy weather on Tomales Bay. Employees too will be thrilled to be back in action pleasing customers and catching up with a week of lost work.
